The new Library and Information Technology Centre is modern, spacious, fully air conditioned & equipped with the latest in information and communication technology. The centre has over 400 visitors daily and can accommodate 4 class groups at any time.

A Computer Lab and separate Multimedia Classroom are an integral part of the new Library. These rooms provide whole class access to computers and are capable of showing computer, video and DVD presentations to a large audience.
Classes are timetabled in the Library Computer Lab on a weekly basis. |

The Lab is also open at lunch time for use by our Gidgets, Gadgets and Robotics computer clubs as well as lunchtime Library visitors.

The Library Computer Lab incorporates 35 new computers funded by parent contributions.
The lab has a ceiling mounted data projector, screen and speakers to assist classes learning to use the latest technologies. |
Other ICT equipment for in-class use include digital cameras and video cameras, web cams, microphones, data projectors, laptops, pop-up screens and portable speakers.
| The purpose-built Multimedia Classroom operates on a flexible booking system and is used for teacher demonstrations and class presentations using the ceiling-mounted data projector, big screen and speakers. This room has laptop, video and DVD capabilities. |

The Library is home to a large collection of children’s literature, information books and teacher resources. Through the Library, all children develop information skills and a love of literature. All classes have timetabled borrowing times through the week.
Children can also borrow library books independently any day before school from 8.30am and lunchtime. |
Our up-to-date collection of resources reflects the needs of the school population. These resources are linked directly to the curriculum. This includes information for school activities and assignments.

Our books are chosen to cater for a wide variety of children’s interests and abilities. We have a large collection of the latest award winning fiction books.
Our extensive Junior Fiction collection boasts ‘old favourites’ as well as new books, which we encourage children to read and share with their parents. |
The Library design, layout and furniture have also been carefully selected to cater for the various age groupings from Prep to Year 7. The use of bright, lively colours and clever furniture design, make the Library child-friendly and appealing to all ages.
